Special Child Health Services
Special Child Health Services assists in the procurement of coordinated and comprehensive services for children, birth through age 21, who have a chronic health condition, disability or developmental delay. Assistance includes, but is not limited to:
- Informal Counseling & referral
- Assessment of family & child needs
- Assistance with health & educational services
- Crisis resources
- Case management & monitoring
Assists in acquiring the following:
- Early Intervention Services
- Sliding-scale fees for hearing aids, prostheses, and pulmonary pharmaceuticals for clients whose insurance does not cover such items.
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
